Hand Built Dinner Ware Set.

A group of young folks aged 6-13 are making a dinnerware set for eight together. So far each piece has been carefully formed and smoothed in preparation for firing and glazing- with a little help from Mom and Grandma! Come see it in the pottery booth.

The Jalapeño Polish Sausage is out of the smoker!

Homestead Meat Market is working lots of extra hours to produce enough hot dogs, sausages and hamburgers to feed all of the expected guests to this year’s Fair! Youth Choir is Warming Up!

Our Blacksmiths, wood workers and leather workers are teaming up to make amazing, all hand made axes! Stop by the Blacksmith shop to see them during the Fair or anytime during the year at the Craft Village.

Waffle Cones Hot off the Press

Once again our cooks are cranking out 2,000 Maple Waffle Cones, each one rolled by hand. All together they used 50# of flour, 36# of butter and 24 quarts of real maple syrup amongst other ingredients. (Yes, each cone contains nearly 2 teaspoons of butter.) I wish we could blog the smell! Yum!!
