Fresh Hot Tamales!
A happy crew of cooks just turned 240 lbs of corn masa into 3,000 tamales in preparation for this year’s fair. Stop in at the Mexican food booth in Food Court A for a Mexican tamale plate with charro beans and Spanish rice.

Hand Made Jump Ropes
Each rope starts out as 5 , 50′ lengths of nylon. Then we start to twist them until the beautiful colors begin to blend together into a tight rope. After that we pull them out straight and smooth. Weaving Marathon to the Finish!
Last week we started weaving chenille scarves and dishtowels at 4:30 in the morning. We completed 4 scarves and 3 towels. Even though we are marathon weaving to finish up, there is always time for a tea break!
