There’s nothing better than a fresh, handmade waffle cone filled with handmade ice cream! Here’s a preview of how all those wonderful cones are prepared for our guests.
We’re halfway done making the 2,000 handcrafted waffle cones for the Fair. Each batch of waffle cone batter is made by hand, then carefully baked on a waffle iron and rolled into cones.
We’ll use 45 gallons of real egg whites, 78 lbs of flour, 18 quarts of maple syrup and 36 lbs of butter and 30 hours of cooking time in our 2,000 cones. These are definitely not your typical, run-of-the-mill ice cream cones!
