Filled with brightly colored yarns, and of course, a few subtle, warm colored skeins, the Fiber Arts building is worth taking the time to stop by and see! See the spinning wheels and Takli’s turn the raw cotton, flax and wool into skeins of prepared thread to be warped on the loom. Watch as yarn is woven into useful items, such as scarves, fabric, rugs, and more!
Take time to weave a little on your own. During the Fair there are lots of hands on projects and weaving or using a drop spindle are some of them. During the Fair the hands-on tent is located behind the Craft Pavilion, number 3 on your gate hand-out map.
