Ruthie has always wanted to weave a coaster and since grandma runs the weaving shop she came two days ago to learn how to weave. She had so much fun that now she is making her first piece for the Fair. Ruthie is six. She also hand sewed and pieced her first baby quilt for the Fair. It has three appliquéd ducks on the front. She and mommy are quilting on it together. You will be able to see this in the sewing booth next to Fiber Craft’s booth in the Pavilion.
