One of our craftsmen is building a fancy box for the Fair this year. Our woodworkers have built many award winning pieces of furniture exhibiting fine craftsmanship and skills.
You or your kids can try your hand at woodworking too: at our Fair, visit the Woodworking booth or the Make-Your-Own tent, and ask if you can create something. At this point we plan on having the project materials for a toolbox, a bird house and a spatula.

Mark Borman, one of our master woodworkers demonstrates something new for the Fair this year: a recreation of an old fashioned “pecking chickens” toy. When complete, a weighted string affixed to the toy pieces will be swung with the paddle, causing the wooden chickens to peck at the board. Sure to be very entertaining!
